Million Dollar Nile

Mil­lion Dol­lar Nile held a vote for where to donate $1,000 from the pro­ceeds of the sale of our first album, The Def­i­n­i­tion of Adven­ture, to advance the cause of sus­tain­abil­ity.  You voted and the win­ner was Trans­porta­tion Choices Coalition!

Let’s be seri­ous for a sec: cli­mate change is scary. Sea level rise, food scarcity, dis­ease. And the same goes for a host of other envi­ron­men­tal, social, and eco­nomic issues: We, as a peo­ple and as a gen­er­a­tion, have some seri­ous work to do.

That’s why we’re donat­ing all the money we make from this album to orga­ni­za­tions work­ing to make this world sus­tain­able. Which orga­ni­za­tions, you ask? That’s where you come in! First, you nom­i­nate orga­ni­za­tions. Then, we put out the list of nom­i­na­tions for a web vote. Then, we send the top vote-getter a check! Our first $1,000 check will be announced on June 11th at the Trac­tor Tavern.
